Jorge Barroso inaugurates art exhibition in Vila Viçosa

Artist Jorge Barroso has inaugurated his exhibition, ‘Preto no Branco – Black in White’, at the Cineteatro Florbela Espanca gallery in Vila Viçosa. The showcase features 36 works characterized by an almost exclusive use of black and white tones.

Barroso, an artist from Rio de Moinhos who balances painting with writing, utilizes the contrast between light and shadow to create volume and depth. This exhibition marks his first presentation of work in Vila Viçosa. The display is scheduled to run from September 8 to September 27, 2026, with free admission available to the public.
