Jorge da Costa Lana, Mato Grosso Prosecutor, dies at 74

Jorge da Costa Lana, a prominent Prosecutor of Justice for the State of Mato Grosso, has passed away in Cuiabá at the age of 74. The cause of death has not been confirmed.

Lana dedicated over four decades to the Public Ministry of Mato Grosso, serving as both a prosecutor and a prosecutor of justice. In 2017, he was promoted to the position of Prosecutor of Justice based on seniority, joining the 15th Civil Justice Prosecution Office. His career included extensive work in criminal law.
