Jorge Egea presents new sculpture exhibition in Alcañiz

Sculptor Jorge Egea is presenting a new exhibition titled ‘Éxtasis de la materia’ in Alcañiz. The showcase features 107 previously unreleased works, including portraits and sketches, primarily created over the last decade.

The collection emphasizes expression and texture through materials such as clay and alabaster, moving away from the perfectionist marble and bronze styles seen in his previous work. The exhibition includes 12 clay portraits and 60 small-format sketches. Organized by the Alcañiz City Council in collaboration with La Salle Universidad Ramón Llull, the event will run from September 4 to September 27 at the municipal exhibition hall.
