Jorge Ferraresi discusses Peronist leadership and internal elections

During a political meeting in Villa Martelli, Vicente López, former Avellaneda Mayor Jorge Ferraresi addressed the future of Peronism and the necessity of changing political construction methods following recent electoral losses. Ferraresi dismissed the possibility of a Cristina Kirchner candidacy, stating that her current judicial situation makes such a run “unreal” and impossible to practice at this time.

Regarding internal competition, Ferraresi defended the use of primary elections (PASO) as a tool to organize the movement and define leadership. He emphasized that internal competition should not be viewed as confrontation but as a way to identify the candidate in the best position to secure an electoral victory. He also noted that there is “more Kicillofism in the people than in the leaders,” addressing the internal dynamics within the movement.

Supporters at the event, including Javier Rovegno, highlighted Ferraresi’s data-driven approach to local management as a model for future governance, contrasting it with what they described as “testimonial policies” practiced by others.
