Jorge Javier Vázquez criticizes Telecinco programming dominance

Spanish television presenter Jorge Javier Vázquez has made several pointed remarks regarding the programming structure at Telecinco. During his program, ‘El diario de Jorge’, he highlighted what he called a ‘historic moment’ in Mediaset, noting that his show is the first in the afternoon slot not produced by Unicorn Content, the company associated with Ana Rosa Quintana.

Unicorn Content currently manages a significant portion of Telecinco’s daily schedule, producing multiple programs from 8:00 to 15:00, including ‘La mirada crítica’, ‘El programa de AR’, ‘El tiempo justo’, and ‘Vamos a ver’, as well as the afternoon program ‘El verano se mueve’. Vázquez’s comments were interpreted as a critique of the production monopoly held by Quintana’s company.

Separately, the reality show ‘Supervivientes All Stars 3’ has seen significant drama. Contestant Asraf Beno initially considered withdrawing from the competition following emotional exhaustion and conflicts with fellow participants, including Damián Quintero. However, he ultimately decided to stay. Additionally, contestants María Jesús Ruiz and Yulen Pereira were caught violating rules by hiding food, specifically a chocolate cake, leading to potential penalties.
