Jorge Jesus compares Victor Osimhen and Erling Haaland

Portugal coach Jorge Jesus has compared Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen to Manchester City's Erling Haaland, labeling them the strongest forwards inside the penalty box. Jesus made these remarks following Portugal's 2-1 victory over Norway in a UEFA Nations League fixture at the Ullevaal Stadium.

Jesus noted that while Haaland is exceptionally fast, his primary dominance occurs within the box, where he and Osimhen are unmatched in physical and technical power. The coach highlighted that his defense worked to limit Haaland's opportunities, noting the striker had six shots inside the box but only managed one goal.

While both players are recognized for their pace, strength, and clinical finishing, the two have had different career trajectories. Haaland has achieved significant success with Manchester City, whereas Osimhen recently completed a record-breaking transfer to Galatasaray after previously playing for Napoli.
