Jorge Kahwagi dies at age 58

Mexican businessman and former boxer Jorge Kahwagi Macari has passed away at the age of 58. His death, which occurred on Wednesday, September 30, was confirmed by his friend Roberto Palazuelos.

Kahwagi had maintained a private lifestyle following the death of his father, Jorge Kahwagi Gastine, in March. Reports indicate that his health had been impacted by previous medical procedures, including a surgery where he contracted a bacterium that led to health deterioration. He had also undergone various aesthetic operations, including a high-risk iris implant.

Dermatologist Isela Méndez, a close friend of Kahwagi, shared a recent photograph of him and expressed her grief on social media. She noted that while their relationship began as doctor and patient, they became friends who shared personal stories and plans for the future.
