Jorge Lorenzo identifies Izan Guevara as his potential MotoGP successor

Five-time world motorcycle racing champion Jorge Lorenzo has identified Izan Guevara as the rider most capable of following in his footsteps. Lorenzo noted significant similarities between the two, specifically regarding their riding styles and cornering abilities. Both riders hail from Palma de Mallorca.

Guevara, who is currently competing for the Moto2 title, is set to make the jump to the premier MotoGP category with Yamaha. He will join the satellite team, Prima Pramac Racing, occupying the seat vacated by Jack Miller. Lorenzo’s endorsement comes as Guevara prepares to transition to the top tier of motorcycle racing.
