Jorge Macri honors top Buenos Aires City Police cadets
Jorge Macri, the Chief of Government of Buenos Aires, led a ceremony to recognize 49 outstanding cadets from the 15th promotion of the Higher Institute of Public Security (ISSP). The event honored students for their academic excellence, conduct, and training performance as they prepare to join the City Police.
Among those distinguished, Camila Maltagliatti was named the general dragoneante for achieving the highest overall performance. Other top-performing cadets recognized for their academic averages included Julia Ayelén Bailatte, Mia Belén Gómez, Rodrigo Gabriel Zemel, and Ruth Noemí Benítez.
During his address, Macri emphasized that public security and law enforcement are central pillars of his administration. He stated that the city would not tolerate those seeking to break the law, asserting that the government will not apologize for actively pursuing criminals to ensure the safety of residents.
