Jorge Messi's philanthropic legacy revealed after death

Following the death of Jorge Messi on August 8 at age 68, details have emerged regarding his philanthropic efforts in medical training. Dr. Jorge Tartaglione revealed that Jorge Messi facilitated a specialized training network for bone marrow transplant professionals.

Inspired by the health challenges Lionel Messi faced during his childhood, Jorge Messi reportedly coordinated with the municipality of Rosario to ensure medical staff, including doctors and nurses, received advanced training. This initiative involved organizing rotations and stays for professionals from Rosario’s Hospital Videla at the Hospital Vall d’Hebron in Barcelona, Spain.

In the wake of his father's passing, Lionel Messi returned to professional play with Inter Miami during a Leagues Cup match against Club León. Despite the team's 2-3 loss and subsequent elimination from the tournament, teammate Casemiro praised Messi's commitment to the club during his period of mourning.
