Spain's towns unveil 2026 festival programs and bullfighting highlights
Several Spanish municipalities announced their 2026 festival programmes. L'Alcora will hold the Fiestas del Cristo from 21 August to 6 September with more than 150 activities, a new prestigious ganadería for the bull run on 29 August and an expanded musical offer. Pamplona’s Festival de las Murallas will run from 4 to 22 August, featuring circus acrobatics, music, dance, theatre, new‑technology shows and a budget of about €140 000. The Feria de San Mateo in Talavera de la Reina confirmed its official agenda and a €138 500 budget, with the inauguration set for 17 September. Rociana del Condado will celebrate the 50th anniversary of its fairgrounds with concerts, DJ sets and other events from 26 to 30 August. Socuéllamos presented its Feria y Fiestas 2026 programme for 8 to 14 August, aimed at all ages, with José Joaquín Gómez as pregonero.
Bullfighting results were also highlighted. Torero David de Miranda earned two ears at the La Línea de la Concepción event. Antonio Aparicio won the VI edition of the Villa de la Solana contest. Jesús Herrera cut four ears and was declared the winner of the II certamen “José Ruiz Calatraveño” in Ciudad Real. These achievements were part of the broader festive calendar across the country.
