Jorge Palma tribute opens new season of NOS musical project

The third season of the musical project ‘NOS Canta a Outro e Não ao Mesmo’ begins with a tribute to the late musician Jorge Palma. The season opener features Palma performing ‘Estrela’ by Carminho, marking his final artistic work. Although recorded on July 24, the release was delayed following Palma's death on September 21 out of respect for his family and fans.

The project, hosted by digital host Renato Duarte, challenges artists from different generations to reinterpret each other's songs. In addition to Palma and Carminho, the season includes performances by Rita Vian, Rui Reininho, Maria Reis, and B Fachada.

Episodes will be released weekly on YouTube, a change from the previous bi-weekly schedule. The project also maintains a transmedia approach with interviews and special content through media partner SIC.
