Jorge Prado wins SMX Playoff 2 to extend championship lead

Jorge Prado secured an overall victory in the second round of the Monster Energy SuperMotocross (SMX) playoffs in Los Angeles, extending his points lead heading into the championship finale. Despite a mid-race crash in the second moto that saw him drop to fourth place, Prado recovered to pass Ken Roczen and Haiden Deegan, ultimately reclaiming second place in the moto to take the overall win.

Prado enters the final round with a 16-point advantage over his closest competitors, Haiden Deegan and Hunter Lawrence. The Red Bull KTM rider noted that he feels increased confidence when holding the ‘red plate’ and expressed readiness to handle the pressure of the upcoming title decider.
