WTA 125 Porto Open tennis doubles Francisca Jorge

Portuguese tennis players Francisca and Matilde Jorge have advanced to the doubles semi-finals at the Eupago Porto Open (WTA 125). The sisters secured their spot after a comeback victory against American duo Reese Brantmeier and Kylie Collins, winning with scores of 3-6, 6-1, and 10-6.

In the singles competition, Matilde Jorge was eliminated in the second round by the second seed, Austria’s Sinja Kraus. Despite holding break points in both sets, the 22-year-old lost 6-4, 7-5 in a match lasting over two hours.

The Jorge sisters are set to face Ivana Corley and Carmen Corley in their upcoming semi-final match at the Monte Aventino Tennis Complex.
