Jorge Viana and Kel Guimarães launch campaigns in Brasiléia

Political candidates for the Frente Ampla pelo Acre have launched campaign activities in Brasiléia. Jorge Viana, a candidate for the Senate, emphasized his family roots in the region and his commitment to the development of the Alto Acre area. During his speech, Viana highlighted past investments in regional infrastructure, such as the binational bridge connecting Brazil and Bolivia and improvements to the road link between Brasiléia and Assis Brasil.

Simultaneously, physician Kel Guimarães, representing the MDB, is campaigning for a seat in the Chamber of Deputies. Her platform focuses on strengthening the Unified Health System (SUS), expanding care for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and promoting social inclusion. Guimarães, who has worked in both the Northeast and Acre, is positioning her candidacy around her professional experience in public health and community service.
