A new poll by Real Time Big Data shows current Santa Catarina Governor Jorginho Mello (PL) leading the race for reelection with 49% of the intended votes in a first-round simulation. His closest competitor is former federal deputy João Rodrigues (PSD) at 15%, followed by former state deputy Gelson Merísio (PSB) with 8%.

In potential second-round scenarios, Mello’s lead expands. Against Rodrigues, Mello holds 57% compared to Rodrigues' 26%. Against Merísio, Mello reaches 66% against Merísio's 18%.

The survey also addressed the Senate race, showing a three-way technical tie between Carol De Toni (PL) at 24%, Esperidião Amin (PP) at 20%, and Carlos Bolsonaro (PL) at 20%. Additionally, regarding the presidential race within the state, Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) leads with 52% against Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) at 26%.

The Real Time Big Data study interviewed 1,600 voters between September 12 and 16, with a margin of error of two percentage points.
