Jorja Smith releases new single ahead of third album

British singer-songwriter Jorja Smith has released her new single, ‘I Lied, You Lied’, which serves as the final preview of her upcoming third studio album, ‘What Are The Odds’. The album is scheduled for release on August 21 via FAMM / The Orchard.

Co-produced by P2J and Marco Bernardis, the single features a minimalist arrangement of electronic programming, piano, and saxophone. The track explores themes of emotional fatigue and the decision to leave toxic relationship cycles. The forthcoming album is expected to expand Smith’s musical range, incorporating genres such as UK Garage, Grime, 2-Step, and House into her established R&B style.

This release follows a period of high-profile performances, including serving as a special guest for Harry Styles during his sold-out shows in Mexico City. Smith is also set to co-headline the All Points East festival in London's Victoria Park on the day of her album launch.
