Jorja Smith releases new single ‘I Lied, You Lied’

Singer Jorja Smith has released a new single, ‘I Lied, You Lied’, accompanied by a music video. The track explores themes of emotional exhaustion and the realization of toxic relationship dynamics. Produced by P2J and saxophonist Marco Bernardi, the song features a production style incorporating electronic programming, piano, and saxophone.

The single is part of Smith’s upcoming third studio album, ‘What Are The Odds’, scheduled for release on August 21 via the FAMM label. The album is expected to expand her musical landscape by incorporating elements of UK garage, grime, 2-step, UK funky, and house. Much of the project was developed through intuitive studio sessions with producer P2J.

On the day of the album's release, August 21, Smith is set to perform at the All Points East festival in Victoria Park, London. She will co-headline the event, which she helped curate alongside FAMM.
