Jorthy Mokio remains at Ajax after failed transfer links

Former Ajax manager Francesco Farioli reportedly sought to reunite with midfielder Jorthy Mokio during the recent transfer period. While Farioli saw significant potential in the 18-year-old, a potential move to FC Porto did not materialize.

Despite the interest, Mokio remains at Ajax, where he recently signed a contract extension through the summer of 2031. The club's midfield is currently highly competitive, featuring players such as Yves Bissouma, Sofyan Amrabat, Julian Brandt, and Davy Klaassen. Mokio has already made 68 appearances for Ajax, recording eight goals and four assists.
