José Alberto ‘El Canario’ joins Bazucazo Navideño 2026 lineup

Dominican salsa artist José Alberto ‘El Canario’ has been confirmed for the Bazucazo Navideño 2026 music festival. The event is scheduled to take place on Friday, December 18, and Saturday, December 19, at the Temístocles Metz Stadium in San Cristóbal.

Celebrating 50 years of musical career, ‘El Canario’ will bring a repertoire of hits including ‘Sueño contigo’ and ‘Mis amores’ to the stage. The festival, produced by Lenín Ramírez, has been a staple of year-end celebrations in San Cristóbal for over a decade, featuring various genres such as bachata, merengue, and urban music.

The 2026 edition will operate under the theme ‘Alegría y Paz en Navidad’. While the specific performance date for the artist has not yet been announced, tickets are set to go on sale starting November 1 through Boletos Express.
