José Altuve hits 14th home run of the season in Houston

Houston Astros second baseman José Altuve hit his 14th home run of the season during a game against the Oakland Athletics at Daikin Park. The home run, a 95.4 mph missile to left field, drove in Yordan Álvarez to give the Astros an early 3-0 lead.

With this performance, Altuve reached several career milestones. He has now recorded 10 seasons with at least 14 home runs and moved into sole possession of ninth place in MLB history for games with three or more RBIs. Additionally, his 26 career home runs against the Athletics franchise move him past Alex Bregman for the second-most home runs by an active player against the team, trailing only Mike Trout.
