José Antonio Rodríguez to perform “Como un bolero” in Santo Domingo

Dominican singer-songwriter José Antonio Rodríguez will perform his concert “Como un bolero” at the Bar Juan Lockward of the Teatro Nacional Eduardo Brito in Santo Domingo. The shows are scheduled for September 3 and 10 at 8:30 p.m.

The musical experience aims to highlight poetic lyrics and memory, featuring a repertoire that blends the artist's classic songs with new compositions. The performances will be under the musical direction of Alex Mansilla and will include musicians David Vásquez on bass, Otoniel Nicolás on percussion, and Ronny Cruz on keyboards.

Rodríguez, a veteran of the Dominican music scene, rose to international prominence after winning the Viña del Mar International Song Festival in 1986. Tickets are available through the National Theater's official website.
