Jos Buttler sets T20 record as England sweeps Sri Lanka

England has secured a 3-0 clean sweep in their T20I series against Sri Lanka. The victory included a six-wicket win in the second match at Sophia Gardens and an eight-wicket win in the third match at Old Trafford.

During the second match, England batter Jos Buttler made history by becoming the first player to score 15,000 runs in T20 cricket. In doing so, he surpassed Kieron Pollard to become the highest run-scorer in the format's history. Buttler reached the milestone during his 30-run innings, bringing his career total to 15,000 runs across 497 innings.

In the final match, Sri Lanka was bowled out for 124 runs in 18.5 overs. England chased the target comfortably in 9.4 overs, led by Buttler's unbeaten 85. England's bowling featured contributions from Sonny Baker, Jofra Archer, and Will Jacks, who each took two wickets.
