José Caramés elected president of Novas Xeracións Vigo

José Caramés Fernández has been elected president of Novas Xeracións, the youth wing of the Partido Popular in Vigo, receiving 100% of the votes during the organization's XIII Local Congress. The event, held at the Hotel Cidade de Vigo, was attended by local and provincial party leadership, including Luisa Sánchez, president of the PP in Vigo.

Caramés, a law and business student, stated that his leadership aims to serve as a voice for local youth by addressing critical issues such as housing access, employment, and entrepreneurship. He emphasized a commitment to active listening and proposing practical solutions for the city. Luisa Sánchez encouraged the new leadership to engage young people who have not previously participated in the party, urging them to be the ‘present’ of the organization rather than just its future.
