José Castro Fashion Contest debuts in A Caniza

The first José Castro Fashion Contest for New Designers was held at the Casa da Cultura Municipal Auditorium in A Caniza. Organized by the José Castro Cultural and Artistic Association, the event served as a multidisciplinary showcase of Galician fashion and performing arts.

The ceremony paid tribute to the international career of José Castro, the third Spanish creator to join the French Federation of Haute Couture in Paris. The production featured a unique stage design that extended through the central aisle of the auditorium, creating a runway that connected the main stage to the end of the hall. The event included musical performances by SiINTÉTICA and was hosted by Mónica Flyn.
