José Ceballos appointed regional Civil Defense director in San Cristóbal

José Ceballos has been sworn in as the new provincial and regional director of the Civil Defense in San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic. The appointment was led by Carlos Paulino, the executive director of the institution, and Pura Casilla, the provincial governor.

Ceballos previously served as the local Operations Manager, where he managed responses to significant emergencies, including the explosion on August 14, 2023. During the ceremony, Paulino expressed confidence in Ceballos's technical capacity and commitment to protecting lives within the Valdesia region.

Governor Casilla emphasized the importance of effective coordination between state institutions to safeguard citizens and property. Ceballos pledged to serve the population of San Cristóbal with discipline and responsibility to ensure rapid and efficient emergency responses.
