José Chedraui Budib addresses Puebla polling results

José Chedraui Budib, the current mayor of Puebla and Morena candidate for the 2024 elections, has addressed recent polling results. Despite a Parametría survey identifying him as the best-evaluated profile within the Morena party for the capital, Chedraui Budib stated that it is not yet the time to discuss reelection or scenarios for 2027, emphasizing his focus on delivering results to current constituents.

In the same political landscape, Rodrigo Abdala, the Welfare delegate in Puebla, reaffirmed his aspirations to run for the Puebla municipal presidency. Abdala noted that he intends to compete based on work and results rather than promotional campaigns or the use of social programs for personal political gain. However, the same survey placed Abdala among the lowest-rated profiles, with less than 6 percent approval across various indicators.

Chedraui Budib, a textile businessman and former local deputy, represents the 'Juntos Sigamos Haciendo Historia' coalition, which includes Morena, PT, Green Party, Nueva Alianza, and Fuerza por México.
