José Félix Tezanos declares support for Pedro Sánchez's project

José Félix Tezanos, president of the Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas (CIS), has declared his commitment to the political project of PSOE leader Pedro Sánchez. In an article published in the magazine 'Temas para el Debate' by the Fundación Sistema, Tezanos criticized what he termed 'nostalgic rights'—referring to the PP and Vox parties.

Tezanos accused these parties of displaying extreme hostility toward the coalition government formed after the 2023 elections and claimed they show little respect for the 1978 Constitution. He argued that these groups are attempting to make Spanish social and political life unbearable and are seeking to remove perceived political intruders from power by any means necessary. He further stated that the Spanish people are weary of institutional persecution and wish to avoid a return to the era of the Franco dictatorship, favoring a modern and open Spain.
