José José tribute concert fills Xalapa's Plaza Lerdo

A two‑hour free concert was held in Plaza Lerdo, Xalapa, Veracruz, honoring Mexican singer José José, known as the "Prince of Song." The program, titled "Príncipe Sinfónico," was led by vocalist Daniel Núñez and featured the Banda Sinfónica del Estado de Veracruz under conductor Cristian Texon. Performances also included the jazz‑folk group Jazzz Folk and the traditional ensemble Fiesta de Son de la SEV. The event was organized by the Veracruz state government through the Secretaría de Gobierno, with security personnel and a medical aid station on site to ensure safety and health support for attendees.
