José Luis Pastor brings Ibero-American Cultural Autumn to Argentina
Musician and educator José Luis Pastor is bringing the international programming of the 19th Ibero-American Cultural Autumn (OCIb) to Argentina. Acting as a cultural ambassador for both the OCIb and the Ibero-American Cultural Association (ACI), Pastor will perform in the province of Mendoza.
His show, ‘Vade Mecum. A millennium of guitars’, is scheduled for August 28 at the Julio Le Parc Cultural Space in Guaymallén and August 29 at the Francisco Parque Agnesi Convention and Exhibition Center in San Martín. The performance is based on extensive research into the evolution of the guitar, utilizing twelve different instruments to trace approximately one thousand years of musical history.
This initiative aims to strengthen cultural ties between Spain and Ibero-American nations, expanding the OCIb's reach beyond Spanish borders through music, literature, and visual arts.
