José Luis Pastor sworn in as Episcopal Vicar of Melilla

Episcopal Vicar Dicastery for Evangelization Catholic Church Melilla Sanctuaries

José Luis Pastor has officially assumed his role as the new Episcopal Vicar of Melilla. During a ceremony held at the Sacred Heart of Jesus church, Pastor took his oath of office, pledging to maintain communion with the Catholic Church and fulfill his duties according to Canon Law.

The ceremony marked the transition from the previous vicar, Eduardo Resa, who served the city for eight years before departing for Málaga. The event was attended by religious leaders, including the Bishop of Málaga, Monsignor José Antonio Satuéy, as well as local institutional representatives.
