Chihuahua legislators report on legislative initiatives and youth innovation

Chihuahua State Deputy José Luis Villalobos García presented his second legislative report, detailing two years of work in the State Congress. He reported having promoted 72 initiatives, including a comprehensive reform to the State Tourism Law that modified 41 articles and added nine new chapters.

Villalobos also highlighted three initiatives focused on neurodivergence, aimed at strengthening early detection, creating a Child Neurodevelopmental Booklet, and expanding support for neurodivergent students. His office reported attending to over 5,000 people and delivering more than 2,000 in-kind supports.

In a separate regional development event, Federal Deputy Manque Granados participated in the inauguration of Innovathon 2.0. The event brought together over 150 young people in Chihuahua to discuss urban challenges and propose technological solutions. Granados invited participants to join the ‘Altavoz Juvenil’ convocatoria to present their ideas to the Chamber of Deputies in Mexico City.
