Jose Mourinho’s Legacy Highlighted in New Netflix Documentary Series

Portuguese football manager Jose Mourinho, noted for winning league titles in four different countries—Portugal, England, Italy and Spain—has amassed 26 official trophies since 2003, including the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League. Netflix announced a three‑part documentary miniseries on Mourinho that will debut on 11 August 2026. The series’ trailer features Mourinho recounting his love for football and includes testimony from former rivals and colleagues such as Sir Alex Ferguson, Iker Casillas and Zlatan Ibrahimović. The programme reviews his two‑decade‑long success, his record of winning the three major European club competitions, and the controversies that have surrounded his career.
