Real Madrid manager José Mourinho reacts to victory over Rayo Vallecano

Real Madrid manager José Mourinho commented on his team’s 4-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano in La Liga. Mourinho highlighted the importance of the three points, noting that the team managed to secure the win early in the first half despite physical and mental fatigue following a match against Inter Milan just three days prior.

Mourinho apologized for the team’s performance in the second half, attributing the drop in intensity to player exhaustion. He also addressed individual player developments, praising Arda Güler for his physical growth, vision, and impact on the team’s stability. He expressed confidence that Vinícius Júnior will return to his peak form.

Looking ahead to upcoming fixtures, including a match against Elche, Mourinho stated he has set a three-month goal for the team to reach its optimal level. He noted that while the team is highly energetic and scores frequently, they also miss numerous opportunities, which he expects to balance out in future performances.
