José Mourinho returns to Real Madrid amid La Liga struggles

José Mourinho has returned to Real Madrid thirteen years after his previous tenure, tasked with restoring order to a squad currently struggling in La Liga. The team sits in fourth place, six points behind leaders FC Barcelona, following a period of two seasons without national or Champions League titles.

Former player Wesley Sneijder has expressed public confidence in the Portuguese manager, stating he believes Mourinho is the only one capable of revitalizing the team and managing the high-pressure environment at the club.

In recent comments regarding his management style, Mourinho emphasized the professional demands placed on modern athletes. He stressed that footballers must maintain a professional mindset 24 hours a day, noting that lifestyle choices—including diet, sleep, and even recreational activities like cycling or skiing—directly impact their performance and availability on the pitch.
