José Ángel Bichir faces financial debt following building fall

Mexican actor José Ángel Bichir has revealed that he is facing significant financial difficulties following a serious accident in March 2026, when he fell from the third floor of a building.

In a recent interview, Bichir disclosed that his medical expenses, hospital stays, and subsequent therapies left him heavily indebted to friends and family members who provided financial assistance during his recovery. He specifically noted that he owes money to those who organized a raffle to support him, as well as to his uncle, the acclaimed actor Demián Bichir, who provided unconditional support for his medical needs.

Bichir expressed a strong commitment to repaying all those who helped him, stating that he views the assistance as loans that must be settled. To resolve these debts, the actor is preparing to return to professional acting and theater, noting that he is currently in discussions for new projects to generate the necessary income.
