CNC re-elects José Roberto Tadros as president through 2030

José Roberto Tadros has been re-elected as the president of the National Confederation of Trade in Goods, Services and Tourism (CNC) in Brazil. The election, held in Brasília, saw Tadros receive 28 unanimous votes, securing his leadership for a term spanning from November 19, 2026, to November 18, 2030.

The newly elected board includes several regional representatives. Nadim Donato, president of the Fecomércio MG system, was elected as a vice-president, increasing Minas Gerais' presence in the national structure. José Aparecido Freire, president of Fecomércio-DF, was elected as the 2nd vice-president, while Luiz Carlos Bohn (RS) will serve as the 1st vice-president and Ivo Dall’Acqua Júnior (SP) as the 3rd vice-president.

Other notable appointments include Kelsor Fernandes (BA) as a director and representatives from Tocantins, such as Domingos Tavares de Sousa, joining the management. The new administration is tasked with representing the interests of the tertiary sector, fostering dialogue with public authorities, and promoting economic development and legal security for businesses across Brazil.
