Jose Mourinho warns Real Madrid players no one is untouchable

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has stated that no player is bigger than the club, emphasizing that performance on the pitch will determine starting positions rather than reputation, status, or transfer fees.

Mourinho addressed these comments ahead of a UEFA Champions League match against RB Leipzig. The warning follows recent struggles for consistency from Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior, who is currently serving a four-match La Liga suspension for hair-pulling. While Mourinho confirmed Vinicius will start on the left wing against Leipzig, the emergence of Ivorian winger Yan Diomande has increased competition for the position.

Diomande, who joined the club for a record €140 million, has recently impressed with strong performances, including a goal against Sevilla. Mourinho noted that while the team has maintained a perfect start in the Champions League league phase, they remain some distance from the level of performance he expects, particularly as they sit six points behind Barcelona in La Liga.
