Josefin Berntsson named finalist in P4 Nästa Stjärna

Josefin Berntsson, performing under the artist name Joéla, has been named a finalist in the Sveriges Radio music competition P4 Nästa Stjärna. The announcement was made in Örebro.

Berntsson, a songwriting and music production student at Örebro University, describes her musical style as Swedish indiepop. Her entry for the competition, titled ‘Bottens ögon’, is scheduled for release on music streaming services on October 2.

The local final in Örebro is set to take place on October 20, featuring other finalists including the band Cassette and artist Ninni Neiler. Voting for the finalists will open on October 5.
