Joseph Danjuma resigns from NDC Nasarawa

Joseph Danjuma has resigned from his position as the Publicity Secretary of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Nasarawa State, effective immediately. In a resignation letter addressed to the state chairman on October 27, 2026, Danjuma cited a lack of opportunity to effectively perform his duties as the party's spokesperson as the primary reason for his departure.

Following his resignation, Danjuma announced his support for Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, the former Inspector-General of Police, who is campaigning for the governorship of Nasarawa State under the Social Democratic Party (SDP). Danjuma stated that his decision to back Adamu was based on an assessment of the former police chief’s leadership qualities.
