Joseph Kpemka questioned by EOCO over BOST dealings

The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) questioned Joseph Dindiok Kpemka on Thursday, September 10, 2026, regarding unspecified dealings at the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST). Kpemka, who previously served as the Deputy Managing Director of BOST and as Deputy Attorney-General under the Akufo-Addo administration, was granted bail following the questioning.

While EOCO has not released an official statement, sources indicate that investigations into the matter are ongoing. Kpemka, a former Member of Parliament for the Tempane constituency, was appointed to his role at BOST in May 2024. BOST is a state enterprise responsible for managing Ghana’s strategic petroleum reserves and fuel distribution infrastructure. One source familiar with the matter suggested that Kpemka had not committed any wrongdoing in connection with the investigation.
