Josephine film teaser released starring Channing Tatum and Gemma Chan
Sumerian Pictures has released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming film ‘Josephine,’ starring Channing Tatum and Gemma Chan. The drama, written, directed, and produced by Beth de Araújo, is based on her own personal life experiences.
The film follows the psychological aftermath experienced by an eight-year-old girl, played by newcomer Mason Lily Reeves, after she witnesses a crime in Golden Gate Park. The story explores how her parents, portrayed by Tatum and Chan, struggle to help their daughter cope with the trauma.
‘Josephine’ previously won both the U.S. Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival. It is scheduled to debut in select theaters on November 20, with a nationwide expansion set for December 4.
