Josh Allen sets Buffalo Bills franchise record for touchdowns from scrimmage
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has become the franchise leader in touchdowns from scrimmage. During a game against the New England Patriots, Allen scored his 88th career rushing or receiving touchdown on a one-yard run, surpassing the previous record of 87 shared by Hall of Famers Andre Reed and Thurman Thomas.
Allen’s record-breaking performance highlights his rapid ascent in franchise history, reaching the milestone in his ninth NFL year. His current tally includes 86 rushing touchdowns and two receiving touchdowns.
In a separate statistical pursuit, Allen and Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry are both chasing the NFL record for the most rushing touchdowns through the first four games of a season. Both players have recorded six rushing touchdowns through three games. They are currently three touchdowns away from tying the record of nine, held by Jim Brown, Emmitt Smith, and Stephen Davis.
