Josh Allen faces knee injury concerns following Bills win over Chargers

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is under medical scrutiny following a hit to his left knee during a Week 3 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. During the game, Allen's knee made contact with a defender's helmet, leading to visible limping and favoring of the leg during post-game activities.

Sports medicine experts have speculated on the potential severity of the injury. Dr. Jesse Morse suggested the injury could range from a bone bruise or a Grade 1 MCL sprain to more serious issues involving the meniscus or ACL. A Grade 1 sprain would likely allow Allen to play in Week 4, whereas more significant damage could result in missing one to three weeks of play.

Bills head coach Joe Brady addressed the situation on Monday, attempting to ease concerns by stating that Allen is dealing with regular bumps and bruises and is not facing anything significant. Despite the injury scare, the Bills remain 3-0, and Allen remains a favorite in MVP and conference championship prediction markets.
