Josh Anderson seeks long-term extension with Montreal Canadiens

Montreal Canadiens forward Josh Anderson has expressed a desire to remain with the team long-term. According to reports, General Manager Kent Hughes met with Anderson prior to the season to discuss his future. While Anderson is interested in an extension, his agent, Darren Ferris, has a history of negotiating deals close to the expiration of contracts.

Separately, Montreal fans have shown interest in Detroit Red Wings player Dylan Larkin, with chants for the player occurring during games at the Bell Centre. While the fan enthusiasm is notable, there is no official indication of a trade involving Larkin.
