Josh Bohannon scores century to guide Lancashire against Durham

Josh Bohannon scored an unbeaten 125 runs to help Lancashire secure a batting bonus point against Durham in a Division Two County Championship match at Emirates Old Trafford.

After a difficult morning session where Lancashire struggled at 10 wickets down and faced offensive challenges, Bohannon and Matthew Hurst, who contributed 57 runs, established a resilient partnership. Their unbroken 78-run stand by tea grew into a century partnership, marking only Lancashire’s second such stand in Championship cricket since April.

Bohannon’s century was his first of the season and his first since June 2025. The performance helped Lancashire reach 267-5, providing a late-season respite for the team.
