Actor Josh Hartnett has shared insights into his personal life, discussing the balance between his Hollywood career and raising four children with his wife, Tamsin Egerton. Hartnett noted that his children, aged two to eleven, show complete indifference toward his filmography, often viewing his acting simply as ‘daddy’s work.’ He expressed that he finds this separation healthy.

Hartnett credited Egerton for ‘picking up the slack’ and maintaining stability at home while he is away filming. He also explained that the family resides in the Hampshire countryside in England rather than Los Angeles to avoid the industry's social pressures and to maintain a distance from the Hollywood lifestyle.
