Josh Holloway expresses interest in Red Dead Redemption movie

Actor Josh Holloway has expressed a strong interest in developing a film adaptation of the video game series Red Dead Redemption. Speaking at Fan Expo Boston, the 'Lost' star stated that he enjoys the franchise and would like to see it brought to the big screen, even suggesting he would be interested in playing the lead character, John Marston.

While the Red Dead Redemption series has achieved massive commercial success, with over 116 million copies of the original game and 87 million copies of the prequel sold worldwide, Rockstar Games has not announced any official plans for a cinematic adaptation. Holloway's proposal remains a personal ambition rather than an active production.
