Josh Homme debuts as model for Ann Demeulemeester in Paris
Josh Homme, the frontman of Queens of the Stone Age, made his formal modeling debut during Paris Fashion Week. The 53-year-old musician walked the runway for Ann Demeulemeester’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection, titled “Lonesome Heaven.”
During the show, Homme wore a dark pinstripe suit paired with a light blue shirt and a neckerchief. His appearance was noted for its disruptive stylistic choice of wearing flip-flops. The band’s official social media accounts shared images from the event, expressing gratitude to creative director Stefano Gallici and the Ann Demeulemeester team for their professionalism and artistry.
The connection between the musician and the collection is rooted in the desert aesthetic. Stefano Gallici noted that the collection was inspired by solo travels through the California desert, during which he listened to the 1994 album “Welcome to Sky Valley” by Kyuss, the band Homme co-founded prior to Queens of the Stone Age.
