Josh Hoover to replace Heisman winner at Indiana

Quarterback Josh Hoover is preparing to lead the defending national champion Indiana Hoosiers after transferring from TCU. Hoover brings significant experience to the No. 6 ranked program, having logged 31 career starts and over 9,000 passing yards.

Hoover succeeds Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza. While his scouting report highlights a strong ability to make quick decisions and throw into tight windows, analysts are monitoring his ability to reduce turnovers, noting he threw 13 interceptions and lost two fumbles last season.

Hoover is expected to make his debut for Indiana on September 5 against North Texas under head coach Curt Cignetti.
